These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the ChildSafe application and related software (together, "ChildSafe" or the "App"), provided by Daksh Digital Solution ("we", "us", "our"). By installing or using ChildSafe, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
ChildSafe is a guide, not a leash. Children grow through trust, space, and privacy. ChildSafe is meant to help you understand and support your child and to step in at the right moment — never to over-monitor or control. Please be mindful of the generation gap: what feels like protection to a parent can feel like surveillance to a child.
Wherever possible, talk to your child openly about why you use it. Use what you learn to start conversations and offer guidance, not to punish. Respect your child's growing need for independence and privacy as they mature.
ChildSafe does not provide psychological, medical, or counseling advice. If you are worried about your child's safety, behaviour, or wellbeing, please seek help from a qualified professional child counselor or a licensed mental-health professional.
ChildSafe is intended for a parent or legal guardian to help care for their own minor child. By using the App you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally responsible for the child and the device(s) being monitored.
You are solely responsible for using ChildSafe lawfully. Laws about monitoring and privacy vary by country and region. You agree that you will:
ChildSafe is licensed solely for a parent or legal guardian to look after their own minor child on a device the parent owns or lawfully controls. You must not, and you agree not to, use ChildSafe to monitor, track, record, or access the activity, communications, location, or device of:
in each case without that person's knowledge and consent where the law requires it. Installing or using monitoring software on another person without a lawful right to do so is a serious offence in India and many other countries — including under provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000 (such as sections 43, 66, 66E and 72) and other privacy and criminal laws — and can result in civil liability and criminal prosecution.
You alone bear full responsibility for how you use ChildSafe. Daksh Digital Solution provides the software for lawful parental use only, does not condone or support any unlawful surveillance, and accepts no liability for any use of the App in breach of these Terms or of any law. We may suspend or terminate your licence, and where required cooperate with lawful authority, if we reasonably believe the App is being used unlawfully.
Using monitoring software on a person without a lawful right to do so may be illegal. You, not Daksh Digital Solution, are responsible for how you use the App.
ChildSafe lets a parent view activity from a child's device through a private dashboard (for example, app usage, screenshots, and related activity, depending on configuration). Features may change, improve, or be removed over time. We do not guarantee that the App will capture every activity or run without interruption.
Monitoring content stays on your own device. The activity ChildSafe captures — screenshots, app usage, web/search activity and related reports — is stored encrypted on the monitored device, protected by a parent PIN, and is viewed by you over your own local network. This monitoring content is not uploaded to us or to any cloud service. You are responsible for keeping your PIN confidential and for securing the devices on which ChildSafe and its data reside.
To manage your licence and subscription, ChildSafe does send a limited amount of account information to our cloud service — such as an anonymised device identifier, your trial/subscription status, and payment details processed by our payment provider. This is used only to run licensing and billing, and never includes the monitoring content described above. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly what is and isn't handled in the cloud.
You agree not to: use ChildSafe for any unlawful, harmful, harassing, or abusive purpose; attempt to use it to stalk or control another adult; reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the App except as allowed by law; or interfere with its security features.
ChildSafe and any content it provides are for general informational and parental-support purposes only and are not a substitute for professional advice. It does not diagnose, treat, or provide counseling for any condition. For concerns about your child's mental health, safety, or behaviour, consult a qualified professional.
ChildSafe, its software, design, and branding are owned by Daksh Digital Solution and its licensors and are protected by law. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you; you receive a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for its intended purpose.
ChildSafe is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will detect or prevent any particular activity or harm.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Daksh Digital Solution and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) ChildSafe. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Daksh Digital Solution from any claims, damages, or costs arising out of your misuse of ChildSafe or your breach of these Terms or of any law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest version. Continued use of ChildSafe after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of Pune, Maharashtra, India, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
